Day 24 - Paris

Yesterday we arrived in Paris. We are staying in an apartment in Levallois Perret, which is just outside Paris. The apartment is so Parisian, I even told mum that when I'm cooking in the kitchen I feel like I'm in an episode of "The Little Paris Kitchen."

Today we decided to venture into the centre of Paris, which proved a more difficult task than we originally thought. It turns out that the train station right near our apartment is no longer in service so we had to find another one, we got so lost we jumped in a cab though quickly jumped out after we realised how quickly the price was moving. Eventually we found a metro station, jumped in and headed toward the Lourve. By this time it was almost 11am and we were yet to have breakfast, so we were so lucky to stumble upon the "Anti Cafe." I really liked the concept, basically you could have all you can eat in an hour for 4€, perfect for two girls traveling on a budget!

Afterwards we headed down to the main shopping district, we visited H&M, Sephora, Forever 21 and various other big labels....aaaannddd I bought two new dresses :/! When we'd finished shopping, we decided to have a wonder around the beautiful streets of Paris, I'm so glad we did as we stumbled upon a hidden Jem, Jardin du Palais Royale. This park was in the middle of the city centre and was a small paradise in a concrete jungle, business men were playing bocci on the lawns and ladies were fanning themselves by the fountain. It was absolutely exquisite, the gardens were in peak condition.

After seeing Gary Pepper Girl (famous blogger and instagrammer) eating TD4 eclairs, we decided we had to get some. So we headed to L'éclair de Génie, a small eclair shop. I ordered a passionfruit eclair, Chiara ordered a caramel eclair and it was without a doubt the best thing I've ever had in my life. The ecalairs were so pretty I almost didn't want to eat it incase I ruined it!
